Who we are.
An inter-denominational group of business leaders and professionals from the Kandiyohi County community. Board and Committee members from various churches are active: First Covenant Church, First Baptist Church, Evangelical Free Church, Assembly of God, and Church of the Nazarene. We welcome people from other churches to contact us to get involved as well.
Our name "Faith @Work" has a double meaning: 1) To introduce Faith into the workplace with practical insight dealing with Ethical, Spiritual and Value issues, and 2) to help the Christian Community to walk the talk. Through intern-denominational prayer and events focused on addressing specific issues in the community, we hope to bless the community by "Faith at Work" (a faith that works).
What we do.
With 60 to 70% of our daily lives spent at work, we seek ways to facility learning:
1) How to better balance the struggles and challenges in life.
2) How to better utilize our God given talents and combine them with our skills and experiences for the benefit of co-workers, customers, employers and community.
3) How to equip supervisors and employers to better serve the employees entrusted to their care.
How we do it.
1) Planned monthly noon Faith @Work luncheons, normally the 3rd Thursday of every month.
2) Planned periodic seminars.
3) Personal interaction across the business and professional community.
